Hi

Does anyone have any experiences of moving the configmgr
to another server ?

I'd actually like to consolidate 2 (test) config managers on seperate windows servers to a single box.

I would ideally not have to rebuild the broker but I can do if
it is the most appropriate action.

Moving to V6 is (sadly) not an option.

Any comments appreciated.

You can't "consolidate" configmgrs.

You have to recreate a new one.

Well.

Okay.

In WMB v6, you could probably write a ConfigMgr Proxy API program that would connect to one configmgr, read the configuration, and restore it to another.

In v5 you can't have 2 Config Mgrs, but in v6 you can..
