Channels can be defined with different types such as SDR,RCVR ,SVR,...
what if the difference between these types.
Can anybody please give me a pointer to some information on these channel types?

yes thankyou...I just did that...
I'am pretty confused right now cause I'm trying to integrate WMQ with WAS
there is a servlet which is posting a message and a stand alone appln that retrives it
I have configured the SIB and MQ-JMS link for the same but i'm stuck at sender channel and receiver channel that need to be given during link definition.
The message gets posted in the LQ but when the receiving appln tries to read it its giving error stating the channel was closed....
sorry for talking this rubbish... |

Why should you be the only one who doesn't?
Do a search on the forum; there's a lot of stuff in here about WMQ & WAS.
If you have specific questions regarding specific errors post them, along with the error text, details of how you've got things set up and what you've already tried to fix it (no point us suggesting things that have already failed to help!). _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
