Help!!! I have MQ6 loaded on a w2K3 os. Our problem is when a client pc is connected to a channel and the pc becomes disconnected from the network the channel remains active... hence, eventually reaching the max # of channels... does anyone know of a way to release channels that have not had activity within a period of time... or other suggestions.... Thanks in advance

The best solution to your problem is to ensure whatever's running as a client disconnects from the queue manager when it finishes, rather than just closing. Often easier said than done though.

Do a search in here for client connections & keep alive. The scenario you've described has been discussed many times, with a number of possible solutions you might find useful. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
