I was hoping to find someone that is running MQ on Windows 2003 servers using Veritas Clustering.

We've been having occassional problems failing a cluster(qmgr) over to the other server and it seems to be related to MQ not being allowed to come all the way down before Veritas starts moving cluster resources to the other server.

Someone suggested adding "exit #" at the end of the endmqm.bat file that Veritas invokes to issue the endmqm command (# being the amount of time in seconds that Veritas will wait to invoke the monitor to see if all resources are offline).

Has anyone had any experience with MQ vs Veritas Clustering?

Yes, but the time you need to wait is dependent on your network and other hardware configuration and how busy your servers are. Obviously, if you set it higher you will be safer, but maybe waste a few more seconds before failover happens.
