Is there a default message size restriction in MQSI ? Using the MQSI
compute node, I am able to pull data from a db2 table in a remote database, if the msg < 4,177,500 bytes. I have changed the queue, queue mgr attributes to 10 MEG, then shut down the queue mgr and start it again. and the problem still exists. without MQSI, I can use MQ application to put/get to/from queue with msg > 5 MEG
Env: MQSI 2.1 with latest fixapck Windows 2000 MQSeries 5.2.1 with latest fixpack Windows 2000 DB2 7.2.5 with latest fixpack Windows 2000 DB2 remote database is on DB2 7.2.5 on AIX regards |

What is the error you're getting?
If you're sending mesages between queue managers on different boxes, you'll need to bump the max message size for the transmission queue and the channels on both sides, as well as the queues themselves. |
