Hi,
In order for another team member to connect to a control center on my machine, I have had to change the mcauser id of the SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG channel to the configmgr service userid. Otherwise he would have had to log on to his machine with the same id to make the connection.
Now, though he cannot see any log messages even when a deploy is definitely successful. We can only see those same messages when logged on as the configmgr service userid/mcauser id.
According to the Problem Determination Guide (Q 3.52) "The MCA user ID should be blank."
So my question is, how do other people manage in this situation with multiple users connecting to one configmgr? What have I missed?
Thanks,
Vicky |

The way we do it, is to create a user id on the config manager the same as the one the person logs onto their NT box with. Grant the necessary groups, mkbrkrs etc. and you should be OK.
Hope this helps. |
