I am using a dataupdate node (WMB6.0) and surprisingly the node is trying to do an insert into the table. This fails because the key already exists and throws and SQLException "Unique Key Constraint".

Has anyone faced similar problems or any thoughts?

I faced the same problem, but I don't remember how to solve this.
What errors did you see in eventviewer?

While creating the new map did u selected Database Update or Database Insert?

Yes, I used DataUpdate node. Later, I changed to a compute node and did my updates. It worked fine. I don't have the errors from the event viewer.

Let me know if you are interested and I will re-run with the update node and post the error message.
