I have an VB application thats running on windows machine which has a MQ client installed on it...but I get an error that read as :-

AMQ9541: CCSID supplied for data conversion not supported.
The program ended because, either the source CCSID '1051' or the target CCSID
'437' is not valid, or is not currently supported.
ACTION:
Correct the CCSID that is not valid, or ensure that the requested CCSID can be
supported.

Could some1 tell me what could be wrong..and the solution !!

THe CCSID under the qmgr is 1051...which i tried altering to 437...the connection cud be established then...but then it (Mq server) could not connect to any other qmgr thereafter

Hi

Don't change the CCSID, revert it back to the previous state.

Tell whats the version of MQ and the CSD you are using.

I think some FDC's might be created due to this, please chek that and let us know
