In a certain scenario...

I need update a DataBase (Oracle 10i ),residing in a remote Machine,using MQ-Client(NOT Server).

My JAVA program is running in a machine. where.

1) MQ-Client is installed, &
2) Oracle 10i-Client is installed.

The JAVA Program uses Basic MQ Classes.
But when programming for MQ Client,what are the things to note.?/How can i program for this scenarion.?

If you search the forum, you'll find more than a few posts on MQ client connection. The key thing is to deal with unexpected disconnections (reason code 2009 for instance) gracefully and attempt reconnection in a timely fashion.
