Hi All,
Need some urgent Help!!
I am trying to send a message over MQ from Unix to a Mainframe. At the mainframe end, the MCAUSER has been defined with some user id.
I'm not sure, at the sender side where exactly I need to set the User id and PW in my Java code. I tried doing it by setting the MQ environment variable for user id and PW, but the messages are still ending in the DLQ on the mainframe and the messages are being sent by my login id rather than the id set in the code.
Can somebody help...
Many Thanks

It does not make any difference what user you set in the msg, it will be put with the MCAUSER authority on the mainframe end. _________________ MQSeries.net helps those who help themselves.. |

its not only the mca user setting, its also the putauth field. check that please. use putauth = onlymca if you want the security only on the id specified on the mca. _________________ Regards, Butcher |
