Hi All,
I am testing small message flow in which iSeries QMGR is sending a message to aix queue manager, Broker(on same AIX QMGR) is unable to process the message and putting it in DLQ. Message flow is consist of input node, comput node, out put node and failure node(MQout put).
No logs on queue manager, I can see the message in RFHUTIL as EBCDIC.
All MQ Broker are V6. Any help in this will be great.
Thanks

You've got a bug in your message flow.
Fix it.
Or you're sending bad data.
Fix that.
And ask questions in the right forum, with actual information in them. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

resolve the issue after setting the iSeries sender channel property data conversion = true.
And also as per jeff the message length was greater than what broker was expecting...
Thanks Jeff |

You shouldn't have needed to set the channel conversion.
And it's a poor practice to turn on channel conversion.
But now you'll never know what the real problem was.
although "the message length was greater than what the broker was expecting" is not good. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
