We are using WebSphere MQ 5.3, with CSD 6.0 in Solaris platform . We are not going to do any code change or deployment of any MRM [Message set] , flows .
The flows are using GMTTIMESTAMP .
I understand that the US DST changes will not have any impact as we are using all MRM and flows that are already deployed . CAn someone let me know if my understanding is correct or any fix might require due to US DST changes . |

Over and above any DST considerations, you should think about a more up to date CSD!
A quick search on www.ibm.com yields a wealth of information on the subject. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

We do not want to go for any update regarding CSD .We would like to retain the current CSD [CSD 6] as we are in maintenance level . Would like to know if we can have the maintenance level applications NOT having any impact due to US DST changes |

You are wrong.
Apply the latest CSD.
Prevent yourself from running into KNOWN, FIXED problems.
Prevent yourself from running into problems with DST changes.
Protect yourself against future problems.
Change is a constant force. The only survivable strategy is to manage it - not avoid it. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
