Hi all,
I have installed MQ 6.0 on an AIX box. Just after the installation (i did not create any queue managers yet) i went to the /var/mqm/errors directory just to check if it says something.... such as.. installation has been succesfull or something like that... But all the three log files in the directory are 0 bytes (empty)... Does this mean something went wrong with the installation, or is it normal like that...
Please send me your thoughts and this will really help me now...
Thank you in advance.... |

Files in /var/mqm/errors are usually only useful to IBM Support. If you have nothing in there, it's a good sign.
To check your installation is good, start a queue manager, create a queue, call amqsput to put a message, call amqsget to get a message, etc. etc.. |
