I am trying to request a COD or COA back in reply to a message I send to remote queue manager. It succeeds for COA, but when I change the requested report option to COD - it fails; the log shows error 2063 - security violation.
What am I doing wrong?
Configuration:
QM1 (via which I send a message with COA/COD option set)
- remote queue definition to a queue on QM2
- sender channel to QM2
- uses xmit queue named 'QM2'; this queue is set as default for the queue manager;
- receiver channel to QM2
- queue manager alias QM1.ALIAS (defined as remote queue definition, with blank Remote Queue Name, Remote Queue Manager Name, and Transmission Queue Name)
- member of a cluster; cluster has a cluster queue definition XYZ that is present at this qm
QM2:
- sender channel to QM1
- uses xmit queue named 'QM1'; this queue is set as default for the queue manager;
- receiver channel to QM1
When I set report to contain MQC.MQRO_COA_WITH_FULL_DATA - as soon as the QM2 receives the message - I see a reply message on the cluster queue XYZ (on QM1 side of the fence). If I set report to contain MQC.MQRO_COD_WITH_FULL_DATA - the moment the original message gets retrieved from QM2 I see a message going onto QM2's dead queue, and the log on QM2 lists 2063 as the reason why reply message could not be delivered to QM1.ALIAS/XYZ.
