I am running a remote SAVEQMGR (v6.0.3) against several v5.3 CSD12 queue managers. All qmgrs are working fine except for one, which is failing due to a 2085 on the dynamic queue created for the SAVEQMGR execution.
So the SAVEQMGR message gets to the problematic qmgr, it attempts to run but cannot locate the dynamic queue created by the PCF command.
Anyone have any ideas? Works OK on 20 other qmgrs, but fails on this one? |

Is the model queue missing on that QMgr by any chance? |

Please check the Model Queue name is correct or not.
Since as per 2085 error, there bust be something wrong with object name.
And other attribute.
And let us know. |

Hey wayne...not sure if this is what you are looking for, but this is the output from the SAVEQMGR...
SAVEQMGR V6.0.3
Compiled for Websphere MQ V6.0 on Aug 29 2006
Requesting attributes of the queue manager...
(mqutils.c) No reply msg, make sure command server is started (strmqcsv qmgr-name)
The command server is running, I generally get this response when the SAVEQMGR message goes to the DLQ. If you are looking for some other error output, please let me know. |

I guess ur migrating to V 6.0.
So sometimes when starting the migrated Qmgr is a problem
Please use
strmqm -c <qmgr name>
This command will refresh the default system objects.
And let us know. |

The target remote queue manager is still v5.3, as is the local queue manager I am running through.
The 2085 is being seen in the DLQ on the target remote queue manager. So the SAVEQMGR command message is being sent from local to remote, but when it gets to remote...it fails on the DLQ with a 2085 indicating the SAVEQMGR.XXXXXXXXX dynamic queue cannot be found. |
