All,

Capitalware and IBM have begun working together to port Capitalware's 2 security solutions to z/OS (OS/390).

- MQ Authenticate User Security Exit
- MQ Standard Security Exit

All distributed features of each security product are being ported to their respective z/OS version.

Capitalware will be looking for z/OS beta testers to test / trial either security solution for FREE. There are no requirements to purchase either product if a company decides to participate in the free trial of a product (i.e. no strings attached).

We are building / testing it on z/OS v1.8 and WMQ v6.0 for z/OS. Hence, we would like beta testers who are using WMQ v5.3.1 or WMQ v6 for z/OS (or any older IBM supported release of WMQ for z/OS).

Also, for MQAUSX, we would like to have some beta testers who are using z/OS LDAP server or would like the authentication to go against a remote LDAP server.

Finally, as always, Capitalware will offer active beta testers a substantial discount off the MSRP price for participating in the z/OS beta program, if the beta tester wishes to purchase the GA release of the product (time limited, of course).
