We have SAP R/3, MQSeries and MQSeries Link for R/3 set up for outbound and inbound IDocs.
Outbound is working perfectly.
While testing for inbound its giving errors.

What are the configurations and setup required on R/3 side as well as on the MQ Sereies server side for inbound interfaces?
1)in.ini...?
2)program_id in SAP...?
3)RFC destination in SAP?
4)Logical system in SAP?
5) Port?
6)Partner profile?

TIA,
Manoj

On the R/3 side you need to set up the ALE configuration, this will include logical systems, ports and tRFC destinations. In addition to this the distribution mode and partner profiles need to be configured... THis is all fairly SAP specific detail and I'd recommend that you go through this with your interface development/ALE/BASIS team.

As for the MQ side i'd start off with a good read of the manual! See the IBM website.

The program ID that the outbound server registers to the SAP gateway needs to be configured into the tRFC destination in SAP. This is purely for the outbound server and not a consideration for your inbound problems.

Can you paste in the errors from the error log?

Jamie
