Hello all,

I'm totally new installing and configuring MQ Workflow and it would be grateful if someone could help me...
I'm trying to install MQ Workflow 3.4 in a greek Version of Windows XP. After installation is finished and configuration comes up, I get a DOS box with the following errors:
FMC24240E Incorrect option codepage 1253 specified
FMC33999E Internal error: 'FmcOSException, ServiceName=mblen in fmckstr::LengthChar, ReturnCode=-1, ReasonCode=0'
Ignoring these two errors and trying to run configuration, gives a new error, which informs me that the queue manager could not be created and the configurator crashes...

Any ideas what is going on?

Thanks a lot

NOPE... but you should think twice about installing 3.4, it is out of support, go with 3.6 or 3.5 if you have to.

You are absolutely right jmac! Thanks for your quick answer!
The truth is that I got this kind of software through my college which has made some kind of agreement with IBM.
The real problem is that Greek colleges are not the best place for studing such software (if you get what I mean ) and they informed me that this is the latest program's release they can provide to their students...

So if anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks again all of you!

I don't see a chance to get this running.
Codepage 1253 is not supported by MQWF and Windows XP is not supported by version 3.4. Can't you setup an en_us Win2000 on your machine?

Finally I managed install MQ Workflow in an English Windows XP!
I think that somehow, the application gets the system's regional settings, and that's why I receive the codepage error...
Despite of this problem, the queue manager is being created and all works fine!

Thanks all for your help!
