Hi.
I need to find a way to pass the userid from a JMS application to MQ in BINDING Connections.
I have the same application running out of the box, in a remote server. I'm connecting the Qmgr using Client connections (Client channel). I set the MCAUSER to be use with a particular userid. This JMS Application use MQ to connect to IMS app in the backend. This configuration worked propperly.
But when I switch to the JMS app in the same box than MQ, using BINDING Mode, The IMS application could not proccessed the message, cos .. MQFB_NOT_AUTHORIZED_FOR_IMS.
So how can I set the userid when I use the Binding connections?
Any ideas?

Bindings always runs as the user that is running the program, if I recall correct. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

So, in this case the program is promoted by typical WAS userid? I mean, wsadmin userid?..... _________________ GEMO! |

Since you mention wsadmin, I assume you are configuring resources on a WAS server?
If yes, then you need to set the authentication alias on the connection factory, this provides the userid & password used. |
