At the time of installation, I am getting this error [Websphere Process Server test environment : Error found].I am installing in window xp with SP2.

Have you met all the prerequistes for this software ?

I met all the prerequistes for this software but one error I got in wps_v6_install_err.log "The system cannot find the path specified"

Is this the first error message you got in the log ? if not look for the first error message.. that might give a clue.

may be you can give a shot again changing the install path to some thing short like C:/WPS instead of c:/program files/IBM/websphere........

There are some restrictions on lenth of the path (256 i guess) I ran into this while creating profiles.

It may also be getting upset about spaces in the path name.

My error has been solved.
Solution : ..\disk5\was\repository.zip was missing in the installation setup.

I got the missing information in the C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\ID\6.0\runtimes\bi_v6\logs file.
