Hi!
I tried to connect from linux client to server on windows NT. There is no problem in connecting between windows client and server. I tried after that with aix client but it was the same response 2058 or 2059. I did everything by the book, but didn't solve the problem.

Did you try adding the linux userid to the NT MQ Server box and also make it part of the mqm group ???

If you are using the MQSERVER environment variable, make sure that you type the channel name and protocol in upper case:

export MQSERVER=SYSTEM.DEF.SVRCONN/TCP/hostname

If the TCP is in lower case, you can get a 2058.
