I migrated a windows server 2003 qmgr from 5.3 to 6.0 , i am not seeing any of the manually defined SDR channels except SYSTEM channels.

Is there a log that i should be able to look to see status of migrated objects ?

I have heard of AMQ_FORCE_MIGRATE_CHANNEL or something like that variable to force migrate channels , couldnt recollect well ..

There are no FDC's or useful error messages except channel not found messages.

Any help is appreciated.

iirc, AMQ_FORCE_MIGRATE_CHANNEL only applies to client (clntconn) channels ... I assume you're referring to other channel types as well....

Of course, you could always restore from the backup of the v5.3 qmgr you made by using saveqmgr (ms03).

Did you change the data directory when you installed v6?

are you checking the channel thru v6 Explorer or on the command line? if thru v6 Explorer, you may want to check the filter you're using.

i've done many direct upgrade from v5.3 to v6.0 (windows) and so far i do not have any similar problem or other problem.
