HI,


I have problem with message activity.

I have MQ 6 fix 1 and I would like to test this functionality.

In my test application written in JAVA during sending my message I set report field of message

mqmessage.report=MQC.MQRO_ACTIVITY;

My problem is than there is no activity repot message in my replytoqueue queue or in my system activity queue.

I’ve tested it with QMGR configured to activity MESSAGE and QUEUE also.

Another that is that in my original sent message report flag is empty.

When I use code listed bellow

mqmessage.report=MQC.MQRO_ACTIVITY|MQC.MQRO_EXPIRATION|MQC.MQRO_COA|MQC.MQRO_COD

report flag is set only to MQRO_EXPIRATION, MQRO_COA and MQRO_COD..

I can not see there MQRO_ACTIVITY report.

Do you have ACTIVREC(MSG) set on all the qmgrs?
Did you first try using dspmqrte to see if you get activity records?

Yes,

I’ve tested it with QMGR configured to activity MESSAGE and QUEUE also.

Results was the same. No report message

And nothing in any of the DLQs on the way? As I seem to remember Report messages are tricky in the way that they require the user to be known on the qmgr sending the report....
