Is there any way to set the number of additional instances of a flow outside the toolkit?
Here is the scenario
1) Create the bar file containing the flow
2) Deploy said bar file using a script
So I would like to be able to ensure that the deployed flow has the requisite number of additional instances set. It is all to easy to forget to set the additional instances when building the bar file in the toolkit.
Any Ideas most welcome

This should be a setting in the broker.xml file inside the bar.
You can extract, edit, and reimport that file.
A bar file is just a jar file is just a zip file. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Thanks Jeff,
I'll take a look and see if I can devise some way of automating this process.

There's a dev works article which contains a tool to update things like DSNs.
It should be just as easily able to update additional instances. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Jeff,
Do you have a pointer to the article?

Jeff,
Yep, I did have a hard time finding it.
It helps if you have some sort of hint on what to search for in DevWorks. Searching for 'barscripter' is the key. I tried BarFile, DSN Update etc.
Oh Well {sigh, admits total incompetance and inability to find a needle in a haystack even if I have just stood on it...}
Thanks again
