Hi,
I'm using "q" utlity and trying to put message on queue with MQMD Header, But when i use the below command
q -mTESTQM -oTEST.OUT -lmqic32 -#m2 -F Test.dat
Message is placed on queue as 'MQSTR', MQMD/RFH2 Header is appended to data of message. Can please anyone let me know, how to place message on queue with MQMD header

All messages get an MQMD - it's just in front of the MQRFH2.

I have an input message which already has MQMD/MQRFH2 Header. When i place the message on queue using "q" utlity , the message on the queue has MQMD format as "MQSTR" and the existing MQMD and MQRFH2 are getting appended to data. Because of this, my application throws exception.

Your input messages has an MQMD in it? This is not going to work.
If you need to create a specific MQMD, use the facilities provided in the utility.
