error in deleting broker

im facing a problem while deleting the broker,the error it shows is brokerDB is down,
i tried to connect the database,it was showing the error as system database directory couldnot be found or it was not cataloged properly

We'd like to help, but you

(1) Need to paste the exact message you are getting
(2) Tell us the database venor, version and service level
(3) Operating system
(4) Version and fix level of broker
(5) any other things you have tried .....

we faced an issue with DB2 not starting when machine names were changed.. goign to the db2nodes.cfg file and modifyin the machine name and then starting DB2 solved our issue ..dunno if tht is the prob u have bt jst a suggestion ..
