Hi All,

I am trying a sample UPES activity. I am using MQWF 3.5 and WAS 5.1. I created UPES and sample flow. I assigned the UPES activity to use the user-defined execution server. On starting the instance, supplied some data to process and the first activity is started automatically. I got the message from UPES.Q which is a local Q to FMCGRP and then made the necessary changes to that message and put it on FMC.FMCGRP.EXE.XML. After this, the next activity should start automatically as the UPES acitvity gets the reply, but for some reason When I go back to client and check the instance, the process is at the same position and no changes take place even in the output container of the UPES activity as changes done in the response message. it needs manual check out and its not automated.

Am I missing anything here. Please suggest something.

What does this mean? you mean the upes activity is still in running state? If yes check your response message and make sure u have the correct correlationid and format

What does this mean? what is not automated?

Posting your FDL would get you faster answers.

Properly construct the XML message and put in the queue. Check the documentation for help.
