Where does MQ store details about subscribers?

I have been advised that all information is held on MQ queues and that it should be possible to remove a rogue subscription by removing the appropriate message on a queue. Unfortunately, this part of Pub/Sub doesn't appear to be documented anywhere.

The version is 5.3 csd 12 on Solaris.

If it's not documented, then it's subject to change or you shouldn't mess with it.

Or both.

There is a unsubscription java program somewhere.

You can also look at SYSTEM.BROKER.IQ. queues.

It's a little old.

All you really need to do is create an unregister subscription message as defined in the Using Pub/Sub manual.

And if you use the WMQ Explorer, then there's a new plugin found http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg24013508&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en which can be used to look at topics/subscribers/publishers for a V6 queue manager.
