Hi guys!
I'm doing some research about the JMS XA transaction support in MQ coupled with WAS. I've been looking around for some good simple tutorials, and have had no success so far. I've found some examples in the
"WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere MQ Family Integration" redbook.
http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg246878.html?Open
but the most basic ones contains about 35 classes, DB2 connections, and a bunch of prerequisites. I'll just admit that I'm lazy and want some easier hello world example with a simple MDB without involving a DB (silly use of global transaction, but simple). Is there anyone who can point me to a good tutorial or redbook? I'm looking to use WAS as the transaction manager either by container managed or bean-managed transactions.
Also, if you have a tutorial/redbook concerning the ETC (extended transaction client), that would be much appriciated.
Thanks in advance! _________________ IBM Certified Solution Developer - WebSphere Message Broker V6.1

The JMS samples that come with MQ may be just what you're looking for. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
