Description
MQ / DB2 system programmer who will perform software installs and maintenance in a z/OS mainframe environment with multiple MQ / DB2 subsystems with their primary focus being on MQ.
Qualifications
Essential Functions:
1. Install MQ / DB2 and related database software and perform maintenance.
2. Provide application support (Problem Determination/Resolution for MQ / DB2 related problems.
3. Service requests for new MQ / DB2 resources as requested by applications and vendor products.
4. Work with MQ / DB2 interfaces (IMS, etc.)
5. Work with PACMAN change records to implement and request changes in a timely manner.
6. Coordinate work efforts with other teams to implement new software and change existing software.
Knowledge/Skills
1. Must have strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
2. Must be able to respond well to problems or challenges under pressure.
3. Must have good oral and written communications, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge in more than one of the following areas or operating devices is desired: -MQ System Programming (at least 3 years experience required) -Clustering knowledge essential -MQ Distributed Systems helpful -DB2 System Programming skills -CICS System Programming helpful -IMS System Programming helpful -Mainframe system operation -BMC Utilities helpful -Compuware Utilities helpful -TMON for MQ - RACF (as it works with MQ / DB2) helpful

I have experience of more than 2 years in IT with the following skills.
1)IBM MQSeries
2)Seebeyond eGate
3)Operating Systems: Solaris 5.8 , AIX , Windows
4)Database : Sybase,DB2
5)programming Language : JAVA.

Sorry for the missunderstanding. I was simply stating we are looking for more years of experience, but I am anxious to review your experience and see if you would fit this position or possibly another one that we have open. No offense was intended.
