My input is a flat file. i have to read that in MB6. how can I do that.

1) Buy the File Extender product from IBM
2) Write a Java node to do it

Before deciding I would suggest

3) Search this forum to see what other people have tried and how well it's worked out for them.

3) Buy another product that's capable of reading a file and writing it to a queue
4) Write a program that can read a file and write it to a queue
5) Use the FTP Server node support pack, and FTP the file to the flow
6) Use the TCP/IP Support pack and write a program or use a program that can send the file over TCP/IP.

But usually the most popular option is
7) Never write the data to a file in the first place, and have the program that creates the file write it to a queue.
