hi,
I am unable to find any theroy material on binding file.
i know how it is created and other things.

but i still wonder how a .binding file deployed on ur application binds ur JNDI names and Queue on mq ...

pls if somebody could put more light on this....

A bindings file is just a JNDI registry that's stored in a file, rather than somehwere else.

I wouldn't mess with the internals of this file.

Again, it's a serialized representation of the JNDI namespace that you have defined using JMSAdmin.

Unless you have security concernes about passwords, then it's probably not worth your time to play with this file. If you want to write something other than JMSAdmin that can edit this file - then just write Java code to manipulate a JNDI registry and configure it the same as you configured JMSAdmin to use the same flie and the same InitialContext.
