We have two Queue Managers on two different Solaris machines. The intercommunication is established - channels, transmission queues, local and remote queues. Everything works fine, except that the channels stops after a time. Can you suggest me a way how to:
- keep the channels running?
- or, ideally, how to automatically start them when a message is put in the remote queue and placed in the transmission queue?

Two things to look up:
Channel disconnect interval (to keep the channels running).
Triggering (to restart them on message arrival)
Both are documented & have been discussed widely in this forum; particually the respective advantages and disadvantages of each method. I personally favour triggered channels, but that's just an opinion.
