Hi,

Can anyone please help me in clearing the message ID in the underlying MQseries message using the JMS API.

Use the native MQ API, I believe it's done using the following call -

message.messageId = MQC.MQMI_NONE;

Under JMS, you have no control over the MessageID. When you send a message, a MessgeID is automatically generated for you, and you can't change that behaviour.
