Hi

MQ Version: MQ V6
O/S :HP-UX

There 3 Queue managers under the Cluster called DEV.CLUS

The Queue managers are A , B , C

A and B are full repositories and C partial repository

I created a queue as follows under Queue Manager A and B.

def ql(GAYA.CLUSTER) CLUSTER(DEV.CLUS) DEFPSIST(YES) GET(ENABLED) PUT(ENABLED) CLWLUSEQ(LOCAL) USAGE(NORMAL) SHARE

then i tried to put a test message from Queue manager C

using amqsput GAYA.CLUSTER C
Sample AMQSPUT0 start
target queue is GAYA.CLUSTER
MQOPEN ended with reason code 2189
unable to open queue for output
Sample AMQSPUT0 end

as 2189 means 2189 0x0000088d MQRC_CLUSTER_RESOLUTION_ERROR

I came to know that the queue that i created haven't become the part of Full repository and partial repository

I went through the below site also
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg21225022

its stated that: Subscriptions for a particular object name are only generated once every 30 days

Please let me know how to make it out.

Thanks and Regards
Gayathri

And have you worked through the reasons at the bottom of that link to no effect?

Particually the part about the cluster channels running?

If the cluster sender channel is not running, repository information will not be flowing. Hence you get resolution errors. Get the cluster working, then try putting messages into it.

Use the standard "what's up with this channel" checklist to resolve, starting with firewalls & mistyped port number.

(Hint - The two channel being on 2 different levels is a red herring - clusters are perfectly compatable).
