Just curious to know if CROSSWORLDS ( predecessor to ICS ) was built on MQ or not. I guess most likely the answer is NO but just wanted to confirm. _________________ Thanks

I am in complete agreement with you on that.
As long as the connectors transport is not ICS, you don't even have to start the QMGR of ICS. With QMGR in staopped state, you can start the ICS server without any problems at all.
Now the connectors, if they are using IDL as the transport, then also you will not need MQ. |
