Hi,

I have a workitem with a defined expiration time of 10 minutes.
When I suspend the process after 3 minutes for 20 minutes I don't want to have my workitem expired after the 20 minutes.

Is that possible and if yes how can I define that behaviour.

I already tried the following:
I have set the notification mode on 'hold'. But now I have the problem that the woritem doesn't expire in the time of suspending but it expires directly in the moment when I checkout the workitem after I resumed the process. And that doesn't help me.

Kelme:

If I understand correctly, then you are using the Notification mode of hold and trying to stop an expiration. To my knowledge this parameter is used only for Notifications not Expirations. You probably should open a PMR to find out if what you are trying to do can be done.

PLEASE, post your result here, as this is something I would like to know for future reference.

John, I think this should work.

Kelme, yes, I think you should open a PMR.

Where can I do it? And please don't answer: on IBMs web page.

PS:
In Germany "PMR" is Progressive Muskelrelaxation, something what definetly has nothing to do with IT.

Sorry, the only way to open a PMR (Problem Management Record, I think!!) is to go through IBM, either a call or an email depending on your support contract.
