Hi,
I'm using MQMessage class in Java to set the values of MQMD in Win NT.I'm using MQSeries 5.2
The values to be set were sent from an AS 400 machine. I have the following queries :
1. There is a 'StructId' specified which I am not able to locate in MQMessage. Is it specific to AS 400 ??
2. When I set the Message Id as '414FD3482347HSDGHSA9853485', in the message the last two digits are omitted. Any idea as to why its happening ??
3. The values for User Identifier and Application Identity Data are not getting set.
4. Even though the version is specifically set to 1, when the message is retieved it shows the version as 2.
5. The priority that has to be set (from AS 400 specifications) is -1. But it is getting set as 0.
Are these happening because of platform differences ???
please help.
Thanks & regards,
Deepa |

Thank you, Jamie.
Now most of the queries are cleared except for StrucId. I need to set it in Java using MQMessage. I read that the field is present in MQMD, but not able to locate how to set it through Java.
Also, the version I'm using is 2. Is it possible to set it to 1 and will the same be reflected else where ( right now, its not happening).
Thanks & regards,
Deepa |
