Hello @ ,

I have a lot of questions for calculated operating system on Solaris (Sparc).

I have MQ 5.3 running von Solaris 8 with 3 queue managers, 3 message brokers V6 and 3 Config manager V6 and we plan to migrate MQ to version 6 with all message brokers and Config managers on a new box in a new operating system environment.
I need information about required CPU and RAM memory on this box with Solaris 10.
Do we need more system resources on Solaris 10 in comparison using Solaris 8?
What are the minimum RAM or CPU units for one, for all queue manager, one broker and together with 3 message broker and Config manager on Solaris 10?

What is the recommended hardware (CPU / RAM) for this software combination?

I request you to go through
MQ 6 Migration document and System Admin Guide for MQ 6
MQ Solaris guide too

before doing this.
