Hi,

I installed MQ 6.0 after uninstalling MQ5.3 on a windows xp system.After installation,iam able to create queuemanagers and all mq stuffs.But when i goto Websphere MQ Wizard,iam getting the following error

mq configuration problem / an unexpected error while validating security credentials
------------------------------------------------------------------

I checked in IBM website and they have given a solution saying that 'local administrator account should be a member of MUSR_MQADMIN'.I did that and restarted the system,but still facing the same issue.

Anyone has answer for this one?????

Hi

Few Ques:
1. Did you add the MUSR_MQADMIN user id to the local administrators group.

2. Please check the below site for more information

i suspect there are some spaces in the installed directory name
