Got a question from someone and was wondering if anyone has run across this or can explain this behavior?

1. When the MQ ConnectionFactory is used the number of socket connections that is being seen is not a one to one per client connection, the customer is seeing:
Customer starting up 10 Producer/Consumer pairs and is seeing 40 socket connections?
Each Producer/Consumer is a request/reply pair therefore each one is putting and getting messages.
JMS needs at least one additional connection for each receiver for processing Selectors.
Also, it's not quite clear. Is the producer putting and getting, and the consumer putting and getting? Or is the producer *only* putting and the consumer *only* getting? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
