Hi,

I have an encrypted channel from HP-UX 11i to Open VMS box. Messages smaller than 4K seems to be fine. But when I send a message larger than 5K, the channel goes down. Attached below is the error log. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

EXPLANATION:
The SSL connection was closed by the remote end of the channel during the SSL
handshake. The channel is 'OMRQQMEXT.MQAABC.TA'; in some cases its name cannot
be determined and so is shown as '????'. The channel did not start.
ACTION:
Check the remote end of the channel for SSL-related errors. Fix them and
restart the channel.

EXPLANATION:
Channel program 'OMRQQMEXT.MQAABC.TA' ended abnormally.
ACTION:
Look at previous error messages for channel program 'OMRQQMEXT.MQAABC.TA' in
the error files to determine the cause of the failure.

Thanks for bringing it up. I forgot to mention that my counterpart at the remote end says there are no error messages in VMS box.

FYI:

IBM provided a patch to MQ at the remote end (OpenVMS), such that it can accept large messages via encrypted channel.
