Hello

Am new to JMS programming. The "Using Java" doc says that Connection Factory Objects are stored in a JNDI Namespace and and retrieved from it.

My question is, should the JNDI Namespace be present in an AppServer ? We are planning to use JMS in a non-appserver environment. In this case, I guess the namespace can be defined using the JMSAdmin tool. Kindly validate this understanding.

Thanks
