actually we have over 6000 PCs working with Tuxedo, we want to migrate the aplications to MQ Client, is there any way to configure the MQClient without install MQ Client localy and installing it on a net folder? |

If you want to run MQ clients other than a) Base Java, or (new in v6.0.2) 2) Managed .NET then you must install the MQ Client on the local machine.
If you have over 6,000 machines in your company, then you have a clear and obvious need for a software distribution tool. And it should be relatively simple to create an MQ Client package using that tool and distribute it to all your PCs.
In addition, the MQ installer allows you to create a "response file" that can be used to configure what an installation should look like, and then run a "silent" installation on another machine.
But of course you knew that last part, because you already read the Quick Beginnings Guide for Windows. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
