I am trying to create an API exit on a JMS publish/subscribe application such that the API exit will be able to identify who is putting message/getting message and based on topic ID, either block the party or allow access to the party.

Problem is I do not know how to identify the publisher/subscriber? Is there a way I am able to tell (based on User ID) the publisher/subscribers?

For instance for topic A, only Publisher A1 is allowed to publish. Thus if publisher B2 tries to publish topic A, API exit has to block the message from being published. How can I tell A1 from B2? Is there a property I can make use of?

If you are using pub/sub on MQBase I wouldn't know.
If you are using WMB check out the topics access properties. Quite easy.
Enjoy
