I just had an interview for MQ admin and there were couple of questions which i beleive i answered right and the interiewer seems to have not felt satisfied... so for my knowledge i wanted your guys input in this..

1) Queue manager is not joining cluster. What would you do?

I answered that i would check that whether the Full repository queue manager is up, listener is running, cluster receiver channel is running, check the conname parameters of the cluster sender channel of the joining queue manager and also the cluster name.

2) Not able to put to the cluster queue. What would you do??

Check that the queue is shared properly in the cluster, Refresh the cluster

Am i missing anything here. PLease provide some input as i would appreciate it.

Just my 2 cents. why dont you do some experiments on a sand box and try it your self.
