Our CM win2k server was down due to harddisk error and the backup copy was not available. Therefore we setup a new CM to connect with the Broker in AIX, however we encountered the following error in CM

BIP1536S
BIP2087E
BIP2045E

How are we able to get the connection done without deleting and recreating the Broker in AIX?

Please kindly advise.

You can't.

The broker is already registered to the other configmgr.

You can't unregister it and reregister it without deleting and recreating it.

This doesn't have to delete any of your deployments, however.

If you open a PMR, you *might* be able to get a manual procedure for editing the Broker database.
