I'm looking for some tangible server recommendations to house WMQ/WMB to perform message content validation and routing with minimal transformation. Potential to use Pub/Sub to MQClient subscribers. Need all aspects of high availability.

If you're only processing one message a day, you can buy a MacMini, Intel version, install Windows, and be good to go.

If you're processing a billion messages a day, you might want to buy a zSeries machine.

Pub/Sub , you can get a simplified version of it inbuilt in MQ,
So it depends if you need full blown version of Message Broker,

HA is purely OS related , and MQ is supported on Most platforms,
Windows, Unix( various flavours AIX,HP,LinuX,Solaris) , Iseries and finally Zseries which is very stable

I have to agree with the above. The Commador64 and the TI-99 4-A just wouldn't work here even with the Voice Recognition Module.

The message broker is a memory hungry application I don't say the platform doesn't matter - but not the most significant.
