Hi there,
I'm newbie,
I've learned some principal MQ concepts and completed some basic tasks like creating MQ objs and exchange data. Now I want to know using trigger, can you advise me what documents is good for starting learning this.

Application Programming Guide Chapter 14 (I think) - "Writing Triggered Applications". Talks about trigger conditions as well. Also some stuff in the admin guide.

Also look at the MQSC (script command) Reference. Triggers require some additional queue attributes (TRIGGER, TRIGTYPE, TRIGDEPTH, ...), an initiation queue. The Administration manual documents the ibm-supplied trigger monitor application rumnqtrm (for unix and windows). |
