Hi
I have MQ6 with RP 02 installed on WinXP box.
I have 2 user on this box:
Local with Admin rts & Network Domain Userid which has admin rts to my Box. Both user have MQM group priviledges.
My MQ is originaly installed with Local User, the MQ Service is registered with "Local System" This is not my Local User.
Now when I do a "Prepare MQ Wiz" with local user, disconnected network, I am able to complete the wizard and be able to create Q, connect via Eclipse MQ Explorer, create channel etc. But I cannt stay logged on with this user.
I switch back to my domain user, it then ask to get me a MQ special account from DOmain, which we dont have. I provide my own domain ID, but never able to complete my installation, cannt access Q via Eclipse MQ explorer, even it doesnt connect to the MQ, so I cannt do any administration on it. I dont know the state of TCP/IP listener.
When I try connecting from my Java application, I get this error:
MQJE011 and reason code: 2059
Any clue is appreciated

Read the quick beginnings manual for Windows.
The service domain account needs special privileges. Read up on it and talk to your domain admin.
There is nothing to prevent you from running the qmgr under a local account and having domain users to connect to it. You will just have to do the user groups and admin in the local box...
